Vantage

Vantage is what you'd get if you exposed your Node process as a live REPL over SSH. Drop it into any app, point an SSH client at it, and you're in a context-aware console with access to the running app's variables, middleware, models, everything. David Caccavella (dthree) built it for diagnosing production issues without redeploying. The killer feature is "live ssx" — you can attach to a cluster of Vantage-enabled processes and run the same command across all of them. The codebase hasn't been touched since 2021. The SSH server (ssh2) it depends on is still maintained, but the API surface Vantage exposes is too tied to Express 4.x to upgrade cleanly.
